Scarecrow Contest
For you budding artists, bring the funniest, scariest or silliest scarecrow you can! Or build one at the festival, straw and supplies will be provided but make sure to bring items that will make your scarecrow stand out above the rest (clothes, hats, costume jewelry, etc.). You can make your scarecrow by yourself or gather up some friends and do it together.
Essay Contest
For you aspiring writers, using 100 words or less, tell us how you’ll take care of your scarecrow and include some positive ways
that you can keep your scarecrow safe.
Be sure to include your school, your name and grade on your scarecrow and or essay.
Students may submit more than one scarecrow or essay.
Essays must be submitted and scarecrows must
be built & registered by 11:15 AM
Winners will be announced at 11:45 AM.
Do not need to be present to win.
Older participants are encouraged to submit scarecrows too,
but only the kids can win! |
